Privacy Policy

We ask for the minimum we need to get an order to your door. This page sets out exactly what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.

01. What we collect

When you place an order

  • your name;
  • your phone number, which the courier needs to reach you;
  • your email address, used to send order updates;
  • your delivery address;
  • the items, sizes, colours and quantities you ordered.

We do not collect card, bank or wallet details. Orders are settled in cash with the courier on delivery, so no payment information ever reaches this website.

When you contact us or leave a review

  • the name, email address and message you send through the contact form;
  • for a product review: the display name, rating and comment you submit. Reviews are public once approved, so we deliberately do not ask for your email address with a review, and we ask you not to put contact details in the review text.

When you subscribe to updates

  • your email address, and the date you subscribed.

Automatically

  • your shopping cart is stored in your own browser’s local storage, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data clears it;
  • standard analytics about how the site is used, collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. This tells us which pages and products people look at, not who you are;
  • technical request data such as your IP address and browser type, logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

02. Why we use it

  • to confirm, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it;
  • to arrange returns, exchanges and refunds;
  • to answer your questions and act on your feedback;
  • to publish reviews you have chosen to submit, after checking them;
  • to send occasional product updates, if you asked for them;
  • to understand which products and pages are useful, so we can improve the store;
  • to detect fraudulent orders and protect the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

03. Who else sees it

Only the parties we need to get your order to you and keep the site running:

  • Courier companies — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver and collect payment on delivery;
  • Google (Firebase) — our database and administrator sign-in are hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure;
  • Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) — site usage analytics;
  • Cloudinary — hosting and delivery of our product images;
  • Our email provider — sending order confirmations and replies;
  • anyone we are legally required to disclose information to.

Some of these providers operate servers outside Pakistan, which means your information may be processed abroad under those providers’ own security and privacy commitments.

04. How long we keep it

  • Orders — kept while they are being fulfilled, and afterwards as our record of the sale for returns, warranty and accounting purposes;
  • Contact form messages — kept until the matter is resolved, then removed periodically;
  • Reviews — published reviews stay up until you ask us to remove them;
  • Newsletter subscriptions — kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete the address.

05. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and order and customer data is held in Google Firestore with access restricted to the administrator accounts that need it. Administrator access requires a sign-in.

No system is completely secure, and we would rather say so than claim otherwise. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you what happened and what to do about it.

06. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your information, where we are not required to keep it as a sales record;
  • remove a review you submitted;
  • unsubscribe from product updates.

Email contact@hushhood.store from the address you used, or include your order number, and we will action it. To stop analytics cookies, use your browser’s cookie controls or its Do Not Track setting.

07. Children

This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

08. Changes and contact
